Up for sale is an excellent vintage third party lens, the Vivitar 28mm f/2.5 Wide-Angle. This cult classic lens is manufactured by the Kiron corporation, considered among the best of the Vivitar manufacturers, as indicated by the serial number beginning in "22." Its fast f/2.5 max aperture would set it apart from other 28mm lenses of its day, which typically topped out in the f/2.8-f/3.5 range Lens is in vintage condition with moderate exterior wear and excellent mechanics,. Cleaning marks/scuffs in front coating. Glass free of deep scratches/haze/fungus. Includes front cap This lens features the Minolta MD mount which can be used natively on Minolta MD mount film SLRs. It also can easily be adapted for manual use on most popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).
