Description

Vintage Meyer Optik Gorlitz Oreston prime lens in easily-adapter m42 screw mount. The iris is snappy, oil free. Focus a little tight, but smooth. Incredible close focusing down to 1.1 feet! Glass is clean and clear, but there is a little fungus at the periphery of the front glass. A couple of little marks on the rear glass. No discernable effect on images. I don't see any obvious dust inside, but I'm not examining this with an electron microscope! Cosmetics 8-8+, with a small ding on the focus barrel and average paint loss (somewhat touched up) elsewhere. All in all, a very good vintage user lens, excellent candidate for adaptation to DSLR use. Selling AS-IS, no returns.
