Up for sale is a fantastic example of Asahi's classic Super-Takumar 35mm f/3.5 lens. This is the "v3" Super-Takumar version of this lens with distance scale window, and employs an optical design renowned for its sharpness and rendering, while maintaining an amazingly petite size. Lens is in lovely vintage condition with minor handling wear, perfect mechanics, and glass free of scratches, haze, and fungus. Includes ORIGINAL Front slide-on metal "Asahi Pentax" cap, original rear cap, Asahi Pentax 49mm uv filter (light coating marks) and original matched hard leatherette case! This lens features the very versatile m42 screw mount, which can be used natively on older screw mount-SLR cameras by Pentax, Praktica, etc. and can be adapted for use on most popular Film SLR, DSLR, and mirrorless formats with a glassless adapter (see chart below for digital compatibility).
