Description

Up for sale is an excellent example of Vivitar's classic MC 28-210mm f/3.5-5.6 Macro Focusing Zoom zoom lens in Pentax PKA/Ricoh PKA/R mount. This vintage manual focus lens is produced by famed lens manufacturer Cosina and features an exceptionally versatile 28mm (wide) to 210mm (mid length tele) zoom range and 1:4 close focusing abilities. Lens is in excellent vintage condition with light handling wear, perfect mechanics, and glass free of scratches/haze/fungus. This lens features the “A” version Pentax K mount, which can be used natively on all Pentax K mount SLRs and DSLRs, with mechanically coupled aperture on early K mount film cameras and electronic coupling on later Pentax film cameras and DSLRs. It also can easily be adapted for manual use on most popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility). NOTE: THIS LENS ALSO FEATURES THE SO-CALLED "RICOH METERING PIN" AS USED ON RICOH-BRANDED FILM SLR CAMERAS of the 70s/80s.THIS PIN CAN INTERFERE WITH THE AUTOFOCUS SCREW WHEN USED ON MODERN PENTAX/RICOH DIGITAL SLR CAMERAS.
