Up for sale is a nice example of the Asahi Takuamr Bayonet 135mm f/2.5 lens. After transitioning to the K bayonet from the m42 Screw mount, Asahi transitioned its "Takumar" branding to its new line of non-multicoated lenes. Despite being considered lower end than its SMC Pentax con temporaries, this lens model has developed a cult reputation due to its phenomenal rendering and sharpness. Beautiful mint vintage condition with virtually no sgns of use wear, excellent mechanics, and glass free of scratches/haze/fungus. Includes rear cap. This lens features the original version Pentax K mount, which can be used natively on all Pentax K mount SLRs and DSLRs, with mechanically coupled aperture on K mount film cameras. It also can easily be adapted for use on most popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).
